Speakers > Takuya ISOMURA
Takuya Isomura received his Ph.D. degree at the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2017. Afterwards, he spent his postdoc at Lab for Neural Computation and Adaptation at RIKEN Center for Brain Science, Saitama, Japan as a Special Postdoctoral Researcher. From 2020, he is a Unit Leader of the Brain Intelligence Theory Unit at the same institute. He has conducted computational research to reveal neuronal mechanisms underlying intelligence and to develop biomimetic schemes for artificial intelligence – through mathematical analyses of the process that neural circuits self-organise generative models – and experimental validations using living neural networks.
